Joseph H. Donnelly, MD


Dr. Joseph H. Donnelly received his BA in Biology from Harvard College and his MD at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed an Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Boston City Hospital, Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Donnelly concluded his training with a Fellowship in Child Neurology at Boston City Hospital, Pediatrics and Harvard Neurology Unit, Boston University School of Medicine Child Neurology Training Program.

Dr. Donnelly is Board Certified in Pediatrics, in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology, and in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. He has had extensive experience in Pediatrics, serving as Director of a multidisciplinary Developmental Evaluation clinic, consultant to Shriners Hospital for Children, Co-Director of the Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) Clinic, Co-Director of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic, Pediatric Neurologist and Chief of the Section of Developmental / Behavioral Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center Children’s Hospital in Springfield, MA. In 2001, Dr. Donnelly was recruited to the University of California, Irvine For OC Kids center in the Department of Pediatrics.

Memberships include: Fellowship in the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Neurology, Child Neurology Society, the Irish American Pediatric Society, and the Massachusetts Medical Society.
