Robin Steinberg-Epstein, MD

 

Robin Steinberg-Epstein M.D. is a behavioral developmental pediatrician at the For OC Kids Neurodevelopmental Center. Dr Epstein received her B.A. in psychological neuroendocrinology from the University of California, Berkeley. She went on to receive her M.D. from the University of California, Irvine. She completed a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in child psychiatry at Harbor UCLA. She has a double board certification in both general pediatrics and developmental behavioral pediatrics.

Dr. Epstein is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine and an Adjuct Professor at CSULB where she teaches in the nurse practitioner program. She is frequently asked to speak to local medical groups and parent groups on diagnosis and management of ADHD and/or autism. She participates as a lead investigator and coinvestigator in numerous research projects examining diagnosis and treatment of ADHD and Autism, including multicenter site studies through the National Institutes of Mental Health. Dr Epstein is the consultant to the CHOC Prader Willi Clinic and leads the developmental behavioral pediatrics teaching programs at both UCI and CHOC. Her passions include early diagnosis and treatment of children with Autism and learning disorders, management of ADHD, stress reduction among parents of children with special needs, and improving outcomes for children with special needs. She practices at For OC Kids, CHOC, and Gottschalk Medical Plaza.
