Judy Burton, MBA, BSN, RN

Judy received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Incarnate Word College, San Antonio Texas and a Master Degree in Business Administration from Claremont College, Claremont California.  Her career focus is health care administration. 

At Saint Joseph Hospital in Orange Judy launched her nursing career as a night nurse, first on the Orthopedic Unit and then in Critical Care.  She went on to hold a variety of leadership positions including 8 years as the Vice President for Patient Care Services.  For the past nine years she has held leadership positions in the arena of pediatric ambulatory care at UCI Medical Center and School of Medicine.  She is currently the Administrative Director of the CHOC/UCI Neurodevelopmental Programs and For OC Kids Neurodevelopmental Center.

 Judy describes her career focus as:

  • being a passionate supporter of faculty and staff in their pursuit of excellent care delivery and personal career happiness, and
  • an advocate for management systems and structures that support patients in directing their receipt of excellent care and services.

She describes her current role as being a leader in facilitating processes that support the For OC Kids NDC goal of providing early diagnosis and intervention for children with Developmental Disabilities.
